Sokisahtel is an Estonian women-founded and women-led sock shop chain that has turned socks into emotions. Since 2010, we have been offering people in Estonia joyful, colourful and high-quality socks. Over 1 million pairs of socks have found their way to Estonian feet from Sokisahtel.
The Sokisahtel Story
It all started with a simple question: why should a sock be boring? Sokisahtel founders Maarja and Piret believed that socks deserve more than the bottom of a drawer. A sock can be a gift, an emotion and simply a small way to express yourself.
In 2010, we opened our first sales points at Tartu Lõunakeskus and Tallinn Lasnamäe Centrum. The small sales counters quickly grew into shops, because people loved what we do. Today, Sokisahtel has 18 stores across Estonia and our team has over 50 dedicated people.

Sokisahtel socks are born from life itself. We draw inspiration from our customers’ wishes, Estonian holidays, funny moments and heartfelt stories. That’s why Sokisahtel socks aren’t just socks – each pair has its own character and meaning.
Our selection includes Father’s Day socks, sock horoscopes, Grandparents’ Day socks, Halloween socks and much more. Every Sokisahtel sock pair brings a smile and carries its own story.
Sokisahtel Design from Estonia, Quality from the World
Sokisahtel patterns and ideas are born here, in Estonia. Our designers draw each pattern and develop new products together with our clients and team. Production takes place in cooperation with 20 trusted factories around the world, including in Italy, Turkey, Portugal and Croatia. Each pair of socks goes through 10–15 pairs of hands before it reaches your drawer.
