The Tall Ships Races is an international offshore training regatta with a long tradition, the goal of which is to engage and educate young people and draw attention to the current state and sustainability of the marine environment. At least half of the members of the world's largest sailing fleet are young people aged 15-25 from different countries, selected from hundreds of applicants in their home country, and many of them are making their first sea voyage.
