The best cinnamon rolls recipe by Liivika for Father’s Day
Preparation:
For the dough, you need one large cup of wheat flour. About 5 tablespoons of sugar. Half a pack of butter. Half a packet of pressed yeast. Amount of milk – a full glass. And a pinch of salt.
For the filling, find half a glass of sugar, a packet of cinnamon and the other half of a packet of butter. Liivika said that there is no point in finessing the quantities, do according to your taste, if you feel that you need to add something, add a little more and you’re good to go!
Making the rolls:
Heat the milk, mix the yeast with the sugar until the yeast is dissolved. Add flour, salt and room temperature butter. Knead the dough with your hands until the dough is smooth, elastic and doesn’t stick to the bowl. Put the dough in a bowl, sprinkle flour in a small layer, cover with a towel and leave it to rise in a warm place for an hour.
After that, you roll the dough thin, melt the butter for the filling and spread it on the dough. You also shake cinnamon and sugar into it. Now you are almost at the end and roll the dough and pick up a pizza cutter or a knife. Make the slices 1.5-2 cm thick and place them on the baking sheet.
Heat the oven to 175-180 degrees and then put the cinnamon rolls in the oven. They cook for about 10-15 minutes. Check that the tops are golden brown and take the rolls out. At the same time, prepare the coffee and invite dad and the rest of the family to eat!

Grandma’s rhubarb cake recipe
Ready for some baking magic? We’re diving into one of grandma’s classic recipes that’ll whisk you right back to your childhood. It’s her famous rhubarb cake – sweet, tangy, and oh-so-delicious. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get started on this beloved family gem! (NB! If you have run out of rhubarb at home, you can confidently replace it with apples – the cake will be just as good!)
Let’s get started! We’ll need:
For the dough
100 g of butter
85 g of sugar (1 dl, you can also use brown sugar)
50 g of 20% sour cream
1 egg
180 g of wheat flour (3 dl)
1 tsp of baking powder
For the filling
250 g of 20% sour cream
4 tbsp of sugar
1 egg
1 tsp of vanilla sugar
For the topping
4-5 stalks of rhubarb
Brown sugar
Preparation
Whisk the room-temperature butter with sugar until the mixture becomes creamy.
Add the sour cream, egg, and flour mixed with baking powder, and mix all the ingredients into a uniform dough. The dough’s consistency should be soft but not too liquid.
Press the dough into a greased 24 cm diameter springform pan on the bottom and sides.
To continue, mix the filling ingredients together – sour cream, sugar, egg, and vanilla sugar. Pour the filling into the prepared form.
Peel the rhubarb stalks and cut them into pieces. Cover the filling with chopped rhubarb and sprinkle with some Demerara sugar to create a nice crispy layer.
Bake the cake in a 200-degree oven in the middle for about 30 minutes until the dough has turned golden and the filling has set.
Let the layered cake cool slightly in the form, then slide it carefully onto the cake stand.
Tips and suggestions: Young rhubarb stalks don’t need peeling – cutting with a sharp knife is sufficient. When pressing the dough, use floured hands and leave the edges a bit thinner to avoid excessive rising. For the best result, choose medium-sized rhubarb stalks, about 400-500 g.

What is Easter?
Easter, Pascha or Resurrection Sunday – a celebration with many names. But what is Easter exactly and why do we celebrate it?
Easter starts on the first full Sunday after the spring solstice – on the 20th of April. It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ after the crucifixion. At the same time, there is a swing festival or spring holiday for the superstitious to celebrate the rebirth of spring!

It’s a tradition to paint eggs, gift them and tap them – the one whose egg survives is the winner. There are various explanations for the origin of the practice of painting eggs, but it’s probably related to the end of fasting and fertility magic.

Pashka Recipe
Our absolute favourite recipe for Easter is a delicious Pashka! The best thing about a Pashka recipe is that you can make it either baked or unbaked. We will be sharing our unbaked version.
You will need
100g butter
1dl sugar
1 egg, if desired
600g of curd
1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
pistachios
2 dl of 35% fresh cream
100g of milk chocolate
gauze (eg from a pharmacy)
almond chips (about 50g)
1 almond of luck in the cake (whoever finds it, gets “luck” all year round)
Preparation
Take a large bowl and whisk the butter and sugar.
In another bowl, whip the cream.
Add curd, lemon juice, grated lemon zest, (egg if desired), melted and chopped milk chocolate, almond chips, and pistachios to the whipped butter and sugar.
Slowly add the cream to the rest of the ingredients
Place the mixture in a special gauze-lined pasha mold or sieve to drain.
It is best to leave the cake in the fridge for 24 hours! The next day, fold the pasha on a platter, remove the gauze and decorate with whatever you want.

In addition to pumpkins, faces were carved into other plants in the past. Instead of pumpkins, turnips, potatoes, and beets were used instead. Draw a face on the pumpkin with a marker to make it clear what the pumpkin will look like.
Carefully cut the eye holes and mouth into the pumpkin and place a tealight in the pumpkin. This way it’s even scarier, and in the darkness of Halloween, the pumpkin head starts to glow
How to make pumpkin soup?
You will need:
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
~ 2 kg of pumpkin
1 l chicken broth
Salt
Pepper
120 ml whipped cream + a little more for decoration
Time needed: 50 minutes.
First of all, strong flavors into the pot!
Heat the oil in a larger pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, fry in oil until golden.
Now comes the pumpkin!
Add pumpkin pieces and chicken broth, season with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil without the lid and reduce the heat to a low.
You can already smell the good flavors!
Boil for about 30 minutes until the pumpkin is soft. Remove the pot from the heat and crush with a hand mixer.
Get ready now!

Usually, we get them ready in 4-5 workdays, sometimes we’re a bit faster but some days we may have many other orders too. If that’s the case we’ll contact you straight away and find the best solution for both of us.
